About Us
MLSA was formed in November, 2020 by a group of avid skaters, community organizations and community members to develop skating activities on Mascoma Lake in Enfield, NH.
Board of Directors
Joan Holcombe, Co-Chair
Joan is a retired local and international educator, administrator, and occupational therapist living in Enfield NH. She has worked on numerous boards and organizations over the past 40 years in the Upper Valley, with the goal of contributing to a rich and vibrant community. She now serves on the founding Board for Mascoma Lake Skating Association.
Mary Reynolds, Co-Chair
Mary moved to the Upper Valley from NYC in 2004, and moved from Hanover, NH to Mascoma Lake in Enfield, NH in 2018 to pursue life-long goal of living on a lake. Her career has moved from engineering and venture capital to marketing, fund raising, publishing and social entrepreneurship. An avid skater, she is excited to be part of this venture to develop a skating community in Enfield.
Bridget Labrie, Director, Community Relations
Bridget Labrie grew up in the Mascoma Valley. She earned her B.S. and MBA from Plymouth State University. She has worked with multiple groups in the area and has served on a few different boards such as, the school board and currently, the Friends of Mascoma Foundation. By day she works in cancer research at Dartmouth-Hitchcock but has always held some level of involvement in the community. She has fond memories of skating as a child and always wanted to see an opportunity exist for others around the Mascoma area. Bridget enjoys working with local individuals and groups to find ways to bring more opportunities to our residents.
Nancy Lee, Director, Development
Nancy Lee came to Enfield in 2016 eager to get onto the ice and snow. Over her 40-year career, she has worked with nonprofits as a volunteer, as a board member, and as a staff member. Nancy is especially interested in developing and preserving a sense of place. By day, she is a researcher in the Advancement Division at Dartmouth.
Matt Steinberg, Operations
Matt is an avid wild ice skater, logging 1000+ miles during the past winter on lakes around NH and Vermont. He lives on Mascoma Lake and is involved in every aspect of scouting and trail design and operations strategy.
